Charity, an act of virtue
Charity is an act of giving without wanting anything in return. The act of charity is done to help others but without announcing it in the world. It is usually done with the aim of philanthropy and the social well-being of others. Charity is a voluntary act and helping others and is always expected to be started from home. Furthermore, this concept is given by every nation in the world to teach its nationals moral values. Apart from every nation, all the religions of the world also teach the importance of charity and tend to spread the message of helping others in need to improve their conditions. The idea of charity is also promoted because it creates selflessness in an individual and as a result, they become more forgiving and empathetic towards the ones in problems. Instead of looking away from the problems of others, they lend a hand towards others and help them to solve the problems more easily and efficiently.
The idea of Charity begins at home
Charity begins at home focuses on the idea that whatever charity is done, it should always start at home and only then can it can be spread outside. It means that everything good is taught in the home first to all the family members and then what is learned is practiced outside. Charity solely does not focus on helping others via monetary ways rather helping someone or the spread of a virtuous and noble message is also considered as charity.
This concept sends an extremely positive message to the people, that children learn all the good and bad deeds from home and encourages them to teach their children well. As children learn from their parents, it is important to teach them the lesson of giving without the expectation of getting anything in return, but if the parents teach their children to misbehave with others, they will follow their footsteps and misbehave. This will only make a bad example out of them.
There are different organizations and many individuals right now working in the world to do charity and do well for the people of this world without any material gain themselves. The organizations working for the good cause have developed their trust over time and have been actively involved in charitable work doing betterment for the people. Just like them, all the individuals should devote themselves to helping the needy and creating good examples out of that.
